Six weeks old

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all those customers over the past five weeks who have supported us with this venture and I ’m flabbergasted with the response - and I can only say sorry to those who we've not been able to squeeze you.

I would also like to say sorry to the people who may have felt that they didn’t enjoy the FISHMARKET experience. But, with all new babies we have had some teething problems and I apologise for that; all I would say is please give us another try.

The majority of the feedback has been brilliant and I thank you for that and we look forward to welcoming you all back…although the Fridays and Saturdays are now filling up right through to August - so we must be getting something right. So for that special day, the key is BOOK EARLY.

Pie 'n' Mash is Back

Yes it’s back as promised…and by popular demand.

Clarks was always known for serving pie 'n' mash. Well, in keeping with that tradition at the FISHMARKET, we are pleased to announce that you will be able to buy it here again from July 1.

With my team of hard working chefs, we will hand craft on the premises traditional pies only using the best and freshest ingredients. We will also offer several flavours of mash to offer that little Fishmarket twist.

Not forgetting that all important pie liquor to finish off your pie. We are also pleased to say that we will be cooking fresh fish and chips to order as well as steamed mussels with a variety of sauces.

Sunday lunch

Sunday lunch with a twist here at the Fishmarket Restaurant. We offer the finest local organic beef with all the trimmings and home made yorkies (sorry, Aunt Bessie you're not quite good enough) and many other choices of fish-free items - but also offering you the full range of all the platter, oysters and lobster.
